Power supply modules

Introduction:

AX4M, AX5M and AX6M power supplies are digitally controlled switching AC/DC converters designed for industrial applications, laboratory power supplies, battery chargers and more.

They can be used individually or in parallel.

Control is possible directly via the CAN interface or via the AXIF108 interface

Safety instructions:

The power supplies must be located in dry and well-ventilated areas.

Batteries may only be charged with the designated types and safety procedures must be observed, e.g. do not connect the charger without the cover and do not wear it during operation.

Avoid sparking and fire around batteries and never disconnect connectors while charging.

Installation:

The power supplies are designed to be mounted in panel mounted switchgear. Adequate cooling and protection against dust and aggressive substances must be provided.

Suitable protection must be applied before connecting to the mains.

Technical parameters:

The power supplies are available with different output voltages and currents (e.g. 24V, 48V, 96V for AX4M and 48V, 96V, 220V for AX5M).

The input voltage can be 3f 400V or 1f 230V.

Protection:

The power supplies have integrated overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protections.

The protection class is IP20 and the power supplies must be installed in suitable conditions (temperature -10°C to +40°C).

Operation:

Description of the connectors for power supply and remote control (e.g. for the AXIF108 communication unit).

LED indicators indicate the status of the device (red for error, green for correct operation).
